# Stage 3: Who should you contact, and what should you request?

**Contact the incumbent account manager first, then approach only suppliers capable of addressing the documented gap.** Request a commercial owner and a technical or product specialist; route rights questions to someone authorised to negotiate the agreement.

The following are contact starting points, not endorsements or verified coverage recommendations:

| Gap being tested | Public-source starting point | Ask to speak with | Request before a trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Video, event data or bundled Hudl access | Hudl professional pricing and product teams | Account executive plus product/API specialist | Itemised package, competition-season entitlements and permitted workflows. Hudl’s professional pricing page directs organisations to a customised package discussion. ([hudl.com](https://www.hudl.com/pricing/professional)) |
| Tracking-derived or physical evidence | SkillCorner API documentation and product team | Technical specialist plus commercial lead | Authorised sample, definitions, quality flags and applicable competition-season list. ([skillcorner.com](https://www.skillcorner.com/api/docs?utm_source=openai)) |
| Recruitment modelling | SciSports professional-club/scouting contact route | Recruitment product specialist | Model documentation, underlying sources and task-specific validation evidence. Its site advertises scouting solutions and proprietary models. ([scisports.com](https://www.scisports.com/)) |
| Additional human assessment | 360 Scouting’s club-services contact route | Assignment lead | Named deliverables, assessor experience, conflicts and video-versus-live scope. ([360scouting.com](https://360scouting.com/for-clubs/?utm_source=openai)) |
| Centralising reports and imports | ScoutDecision product team | Implementation specialist | Sample import/export and rights requirements. Its site advertises imports from Wyscout, Statsbomb and other sources. ([scoutdecision.com](https://www.scoutdecision.com/)) |

For unavailable women’s footage, ask the supplier’s rights/coverage team and, where appropriate, the competition or club’s authorised video contact. Request licensed access; do not assume a consumer stream can be downloaded, redistributed or processed for the proposed purpose.

### Use a comparable quote specification

Send every relevant supplier the same commercial scope:

- Contracting entity and named beneficiary clubs.
- Number and type of users, including contractors.
- Required competition-seasons and historical depth.
- Full matches, clips, event data, tracking-derived fields and model outputs required.
- Browser access, exports, API access and intended storage.
- Internal modelling, external processing and AI use cases.
- Training, support, implementation and service expectations.
- Pilot duration, pilot fee and whether any credit is available against purchase.
- Renewal, price-change, cancellation and post-termination terms.

Do not assume a pilot is free or that API rights accompany a viewing subscription.

### Copy-and-adapt supplier invitation

> We are evaluating whether your service adds useful evidence to our existing recruitment workflow. We propose an authorised trial using the attached competition-season requirements and common task sheet. Please identify any unsupported requirements before accepting.
>
> We require written confirmation of the trial entitlements, permitted exports and processing, confidentiality arrangements, support included, all pilot charges and any restrictions on retaining the evaluation record. Please also provide an itemised production quote for the same scope.
>
> We will distinguish self-service results from supplier-assisted results. Participation does not imply purchase, endorsement or permission to publicise the club’s involvement.

Before supplying a shortlist, obtain internal approval for the disclosure. Share only what is needed. A pseudonymous file may hide the club’s internal labels, but a supplier may still need real player references to locate records; do not describe that process as anonymous.
