Run a triage, not a compressed claim of comprehensive diligence. Narrow the decision to one urgent gap and one challenger, and reserve roughly 24–40 staff hours as a planning allowance—not an industry benchmark.
- Days 1–2: establish notice deadlines, scope, baseline and trial permissions.
- Days 3–5: inspect a small authorised player sample and the critical competition-seasons.
- Days 6–7: repeat the essential task, check critical identities and review intended-use rights.
- Days 8–9: obtain a comparable quote and test the proposed fallback.
- Day 10: decide whether to retain, stop, request a short extension or approve a tightly conditioned next phase.
Do not infer whole-platform coverage, model validity or production integration readiness from this exercise. If essential rights or continuity remain unresolved, preserve a lawful operational fallback rather than forcing a platform migration to meet an artificial deadline.
