Which scouting solution should an MLS or NWSL club buy?

Buy the smallest change that closes a verified recruitment gap—not the platform with the longest feature list. Our recommended starting point is the club’s existing subscriptions, staff capacity and three unresolved recruitment questions. Compare alternatives against that baseline before deciding to retain, add, replace, consolidate, build or buy nothing.

The distinction between product categories is becoming less clear. Hudl Statsbomb now offers packaged Wyscout video integration; Catapult launched IMPECT Video Scouting in July 2026; and Hudl markets a separate single-camera tracking-data offering. A comparison that treats Wyscout as exclusively video, Statsbomb as exclusively statistics and every other supplier as a standalone alternative is therefore incomplete. (hudl.com)
