Public evidence shows why a simple feature comparison is insufficient. These findings should shape the trial, rather than determine its winner.

Must the club obtain permission before running a comparison?
Make evaluation authorisation the first gate. Hudl’s published MSA dated 14 September 2026 includes restrictions on benchmarking and training or developing machine-learning/AI models except where expressly permitted. It also specifies a third-party access process and requires deletion of Content at the end of the relevant subscription. Its document hierarchy gives the applicable Order precedence over the MSA. These are public standard terms, not a determination of any club’s negotiated rights. (static.hudl.com)
Ask counsel to check the agreement actually governing each product. Obtain any necessary written permissions for internal comparative testing, independent evaluators, sample exports and disclosure of results before conducting the trial. Permission to use a product operationally should not be treated as permission to publish a benchmark.
