Choose through a women’s competition-season audit, not a provider’s overall competition count. Public evidence establishes useful starting points, but it does not establish that every required match, field and historical season is accessible under your proposed contract.
The table below is a public-evidence map, not a verified coverage scorecard:
| Evaluation target | Public evidence found | What remains unverified for a purchase |
|---|---|---|
| NWSL | Hudl’s May 2026 open-data announcement includes the complete 2023 NWSL season | Current paid-season completeness, footage, delivery timing and package rights. (hudl.com) |
| England’s WSL | Hudl announced a scouting-rights collaboration covering the WSL and other women’s competitions on 16 August 2024 | Current entitlements, historical depth and match-level availability. (hudl.com) |
| Spain’s Liga F | Hudl announced an agreement covering 2024/25–2027/28, with scouting video and data to be available through Wyscout | Actual delivery, usable footage, fields and customer access. (hudl.com) |
| NCAA women’s soccer | Wyscout’s historical release notes record women’s NCAA conference additions to search and ranking tools | Present-day conference-season scope, match completeness and footage rights. (hudl.com) |
| Liga MX Femenil | Wyscout’s March 2021 release notes record its addition to Advanced Search | Current full-match availability, field depth, seasons and delivery commitments. (hudl.com) |
The older release notes are discovery leads, not evidence of complete 2026 coverage.
Ask each supplier for a machine-readable competition-season inventory and sample match list. Then label every requirement:
- Verified within sample — inspected and usable for the stated task.
- Partial — available with a documented limitation.
- Supplier-claimed — stated but not independently inspected.
- Unknown — insufficient evidence.
Do not turn “unknown” into “unavailable”. Equally, do not turn a catalogue listing into “verified”. Your NWSL Recruitment Coverage Gap Map should preserve that distinction.
